Mr. Payam Shoghi conducted a workshop on “Collaborative Learning” for over 50 teachers of our school.
It gives me pleasure to state that his workshop was an excellent experience for all of us. Mr. Shoghi does not bring a merely academic approach to his work, but operates from a deep personal conviction as a teacher and a former Principal that the best way to reach out to all the children of the country is through empowered teachers.
His workshop has brought home to all of us the need to bring collaborative practices into our schools and classrooms in an increasingly cut-throat competitive world. Mr. Shoghi effectively demonstrated many methods that teachers could use in the classroom for students of various age-groups.
From my perspective as Head of School, it also gives me an insight into how I can use similar collaborative practices within the staff so that all of us could work together more effectively.
Payam Shoghi has researched his work and spoke from practical personal experience which he used for illustrating the points he made. This made the workshop very real and immediate for every teacher.
We have decided to invite him more often to school to take this learning forward for all of us. His sincerity, professionalism, and fluency is what leaves a lasting impression.
