An in-service training workshop was conducted at our school for our teachers on the theme, “A New Approach to Classroom Discipline” which was facilitated by Mr. Payam Shoghi.
This workshop was unique in many ways, both in terms of its content and method of delivery. A number of innovative ideas were shared during the workshop on how discipline within the classroom setting can be further improved without adversely affecting teacher-student relationships. The workshop content focused on a number of hey concepts and principles that helped participating teachers gain deeper insights into effective approaches.
The methodology adopted by Mr. Shoghiduring the workshop was based on participatory learning method, involving group work and many activities. All in all, our teachers found this to be a very interesting and new experience, and they have greatly benefited by the workshop. They have already initiated implementation of some of the lines of action that were discussed during the workshop in their classes.
I wish Mr. Shoghi, who ably conducted this highly innovative and useful workshop, all the best.
